We joined the rest of the world in celebrating International Day of the Girl on the 12th of October, 2024. The 2024 International Day of the Girl, with its theme "Girls' Vision for the Future," provided a powerful platform for girls to express their aspirations and envision a world where their rights and potential are fully realized.
This day is essential for celebrating girls worldwide and highlighting their voices and leadership. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness about their rights. This year's theme laid emphasis on the future goals girls envision for themselves, and commitment to "urgent action and persistent hope, driven by the power of girls' voices and vision for the future".
Here are some key lessons our girls learned from this celebration:
